Your total power can be important both for some individual rankings, alliance rankings and some early events in the game. It can also help you to guess how strong and dangerous some other players can be. But understanding your own Total Combat Power can help you in varous ways. 

At the top of the game you total Combat Power is displayed. It looks like this:

Yes, it looks rather low for experienced people, but we are on a new server, so it might look very high for the new players in the game. If you click on this display, you would get a new panel with a somewhat more detailed information about both the combat power and your combat statistics. It is important, because it lets you explore different parts of your power, compare the detaiols with other players and see where it would be the easiest to grow. Let see how this windows should look like:

Each line in the "Power" section is important, not only because they detail different parts of your power, but they can explain plenty of items about the game. The game will mention Structure Power and Tech Power in some events (like Alliance Duel). You also see a duisplay about Highest Power on Record. That alone tells you that your total combat power can decrease. If you see how the Total Power is built from 5 categories, it isn't hard to guess that the part of power that can decrease is Troop power when your troops die. You will understand why the displayed Total Power isn't a reliable way to judge how powerful someone really is.

Structure Power

Structure power is coming from your buildings. You can increase it by upgrading your buildings or building new ones if you have some options available. Upgrading buildings only need the basic resources of Food and Wood and the harder to get resource Zents (coins). Zents are slower to gather, can also come from Mines Melee, and you need the Raider license from the License store to gather Zents. Zents are also used by Research, so sometimes it can be the hardest to defeat limitation. 

You can build faster with the help of:

• Help from alliance members (free), the amount of this free time depends on your Alliance Center
• Free constructrion time from Villa building and the S tier hero Sophia (you can get her from the 1st purchase offer)
• Increased construction speed from your Villa building
• Refugees improving efficiency of your Villa or Alliance center
• Using construction or general speedups. You can get these speedups from various sources
• Researched Technologies boosting construction speed
• Spending diamonds
• More build queues (from "Helping Hands" upgrade, in Extra Construction Queue part of the store)
• Administrative Commander and Secretary of Commander appointments from the President

If you want to increase Structure Power in a rapid fashion, you should make sure you focus on Sophia (S tier hero, Blood rose), the Villa building, the Alliance center building. 

When your free construction time, speed ups or diamonds would make building instantenous, you no longer need an available construction queue for it, so you can quickly level some buildings this way when you have the materials and speedups / diamonds for construction. 

Tech Power

Tech power is usually a low number, and is underestimated for this reason. You can increase it using research. Research uses Electricity and Zents for basic research, but the more important research trees use a premium currency Badges. When you can, you should try to get as many badges as you can, as it will be important for research. As research doesn't increase the displayed total power by much, but can create very powerful bonuses, it can lead to surprising results, when someone with lower Total Combat Power is actually stronger.

You can research faster with the help of:

• Help from alliance members (free), the amount of this free time depends on your Alliance Center
• Free constructrion time from Bookstore building and the S tier hero Amelia (coming on the week after the server start)
• Increased Research speed from your Bookstore building
• Refugees improving efficiency of your Bookstore or Alliance center
• Using Research or general speedups. You can get these speedups from various sources
• Researched technologies boosting Research Speed
• Spending diamonds
• The 2nd laboratory (needs a license from the license store)
• Administrative Commander and Secretary of Science appointments from the President

If you want to increase Tech Power in a rapid fashion, you should make sure you focus on Amelia (S tier hero, Wings of Dawn rose), the Bookstore building, the Alliance center building. 

Troop Power

Usually Troop Power is the biggest part of your Total Combat Power. It is the only part that can decrease when your soldiers are wounded, are getting promoted or die. It is also the only part where you can't use alliance help to increase the speed of training new soldiers. There is no free training time either. So it is limited by the time you spend, your speedups and bonuses to troop training speed. As Troop Power depends on number of troops you will need help with Military Center. Raising it doesn't depend that much on payment, so when you want to raise your Total Power for Rise of Doom event, it makes sense to train and promote your troops as often as you can, you should aim to use as much time for this as possible. Training, promoting and healing troops only need the basic resources of Food and Wood. 

You can raise Troop power faster with the help of:

• Refugees improving troop traning speed.
• Troop training speed bonus from Restaurant.
• Troop training speed bonus from the first set of S1 heroes. 
• Using Troop training or general speedups. You can get these speedups from various sources
• Researched technologies boosting Troop training Speed
• Spending diamonds
• Training all 3 kinds of troops.

Leveling up Restaurant is important even in the begining. You should Research the technologies required to promote troops from the New Home tech tree you need Machine Parts to promote / upgrade assaulters, Vehicle Parts to promote riders, Firearms Upgrading to upgrade shooters. Hero Power

Comes from heroes and their equipment. We will have a guide about advancing heroes. You can increase her power by summoning new heroes, leveling them up with XP, starring them up with fragments, improving their skills with books, upgrading their equipment, or doing anything that would grant a bonus to their power (decorations, buildings, tech can all improve it, modified vehicle too) Hero power is the summ of power of all heroes you have. If you open the hero page, and see the power of the hero there is an info button next to it, and it has details about the power of the individual hero:

As hero power increases are instantenous if you have the required items, currencies, etc. to raise them, there is no information about making it faster. In the begining clearing exploration states can reward you with more tickets to summon more heroes, and you will also see other beginners tips in our guide section soon. 

Modified Vehicle Power

Your Modified Vehicle can be improved in Modification Garage. You can Upgrade (level up) your vehicle on Upgrade page, improve it in specific ways on Modify page from the begining. From level 100 modification level you can also use components. The Modify option is more important, but it often uses the premium currency Wrenches while both upgrades and modify option uses Blueprints. You can get blueprints from Boomers and events (or can buy them from various sources). You can buy Wrenches from Deals Shop from VIP 5, you can get them from Glory Shop, Unearthed Treasure, from some events and of course you can buy more with real money.
